The aim of the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum is to establish a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience around innovative solutions in nuclear energy. The conference strives to create new perspectives and develop partnerships, especially in the Baltic Sea region. Nuclear power already plays an important role in our region.\u00a0Nuclear power plants are a significant component of the energy portfolio of Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, and Poland and Estonia are planning to build them.<\/p>\n

Following the success of the first edition of the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum, we invite you to the next edition of this prestigious event. In 2025, we plan to focus on the topic of using regional capital in the development of nuclear energy. The main goal is to highlight the role of „local content” in nuclear projects, i.e. maximizing the benefits for local communities and economies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the Forum, we will talk about global strategies related to the use of regional capital and show cases of countries that have successfully implemented such policies. We will pay attention to the development of local staff and educational programs, cooperation with universities and support for local enterprises in the nuclear sector. We will discuss mechanisms for effective technology transfer, infrastructure investments and government policies promoting local involvement. We will pay special attention to issues of social acceptance of nuclear projects, communication strategies and long-term benefits resulting from local investments in nuclear energy. We will also discuss the role of local governments in the implementation of these projects.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

As the experience of the first edition showed, during our conference we focus not only on transferring knowledge during participation in interesting debates, sessions, workshops or study visits, but also the aspect of networking and creating a space for direct conversations and exchange of experiences is important to us.<\/strong> Therefore, in the second edition we have planned several novelties related to this. Of course, there will be no shortage of leading experts and practitioners of the industry from Poland and from around the world.<\/p>\n
