Magwood, IV will be one of the Keynote Speakers at BNEF 2026. He has served as Director-General of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) since 2014. Previously, he held the position of Commissioner of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the Senate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"872\">From 1998 to 2005, he was Director of Nuclear Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he launched several key initiatives, including the Generation IV International Forum (GIF).
