While at the DOE he advocated for civil nuclear programs using U.S. technology to delivered carbon free energy security and ensure economic competitiveness. He was also assigned to the National Nuclear Security Administration where he cooperated with partners to implement nuclear and radiological security programs in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Robert has over 25 years of military service including deployments to Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Kazakhstan. He completed multiple assignments with U.S. Army Special Forces and conducted rescue operations in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
