With education, experience, and passion, she has been involved in environmental protection for many years, initially in the private sector, particularly in the waste management industry.
She is a long-time local government official with experience working in a city with county rights, where she was responsible for implementing municipal waste management and overseeing water and wastewater management.
At the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, she was responsible for strategic planning in the field of environmental protection. Her responsibilities included the air protection program, including the preparation and implementation of the anti-smog resolution, the environmental protection program, the noise protection program, and the waste management plan with an investment plan. Additionally, her work covered the protected landscape areas of Silesia.
In the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis, she leads the Department of Infrastructure and Environment, coordinating projects for metropolitan cities and municipalities in the areas of energy efficiency, air quality improvement, circular economy, blue-green infrastructure, and climate change adaptation. Her daily work is guided by the principle of protecting and enhancing biodiversity.
She is a graduate of Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Environmental Protection, the University of Economics in Katowice in postgraduate business management, and the MBA in Community Management program at the Cracow School of Business.
