Executive Director of the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN) & Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nuclear Engineering, Politehnica University of Bucharest
Graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Power Engineering, specializing in nuclear power plants. Later obtained a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and began his academic career at Politehnica University of Bucharest, where he also earned his PhD.
Over a 20-year career, he has attended specialized courses at various research centers and universities worldwide. His professional experience also includes the private sector, where he focused on energy-related projects. He is an active member and board member of several professional associations.
As part of his role at ENEN, he participates in various European Commission-funded projects dedicated to human resources and communication in the nuclear sector. He plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing initiatives aimed at enhancing nuclear competencies and attracting new talent to the industry. Notably, he is involved in 15 ongoing educational and training initiatives, each dedicated to advancing the field.
