Currently Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at the EFI Foundation, Executive Director of the Nuclear Scaling Initiative, and Co-Managing Director of the Energy Futures Finance Forum.
Previously, he served for over a decade as a faculty member at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he co-led the Rapid Decarbonization Initiative.
With 23 years of experience in scaling emerging technologies in the energy and environmental sectors, he specializes in policy and business model innovations. His expertise includes techno-economic analysis, policy and project finance, corporate strategies for the energy transition, and open innovation.
At Stanford, he held leadership roles in numerous research initiatives and industry collaboration programs.
He has authored numerous publications on energy policy, industrial organization, development economics, innovation management, and carbon accounting.
