He also supports similar nuclear reactor construction programs in Ukraine, India, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and Slovakia. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of global clients on new facilities in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical, infrastructure, environmental, electronics and manufacturing sectors. The teams he has led have completed facilities worth more than $100 billion in locations around the world, including Bahrain, China, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

He has over 35 years of experience working in the energy sector. He has been associated with the EDF Group from the beginning of his professional career. For 15 years he worked in France dealing with nuclear energy issues in the areas of engineering, servicing and maintenance of power plants and strategic purchases of nuclear fuel. He has good knowledge of the Polish energy market, including knowledge of coal purchases, development of heat and power plants, management of heating systems and development of energy services. For 16 years in Poland, he held managerial positions in companies such as: Energokrak, EDF Polska, and Dalkia Polska, where he was the President of the Management Board for 7 years.
He is a Master of Science in Engineering, a graduate of Centrale-Supelec and INSA engineering schools.

Robert leads the SGE’s effort to develop a fleet of small modular nuclear reactors in Europe and beyond.
Previously, Robert served at the U.S. Department of Energy as a Foreign Affairs Specialist and Diplomat. While at the DOE he advocated for civil nuclear programs using U.S. technology to delivered carbon free energy security and ensure economic competitiveness. He was also assigned to the National Nuclear Security Administration where he cooperated with partners to implement nuclear and radiological security programs in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.
Robert has over 25 years of military service including deployments to Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Kazakhstan. He completed multiple assignments with U.S. Army Special Forces and conducted rescue operations in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Robert is a proud alumnus of the University of Denver where he earned both a master’s degree in international security and a bachelor’s degree in international studies.

Carl has a PhD in reactor physics from the Royal Institute of Technology from 2010.
Since 2011 he has been a nuclear industry specialist first at Vattenfall and later at the energy industry association Swedenergy.
Carl has for seven years managed the Swedish Atomic Forum and thus represented the Swedish nuclear industry towards the national energy policymakers and the EU institutions.
Since 2024 he advises the Swedish government on nuclear expansion policies.
