  • Jadwiga Najder is a nuclear engineer and Science and Outreach Manager at the European Nuclear Society (ENS), where she is responsible for scientific activities and partnerships.
  • In her role, she supports the work of the High Scientific Council, an ENS body bringing together renowned European scientists.
  • With a strong interest in climate issues and related communication, she has also coordinated the “Nuclear for Climate” initiative, supporting youth delegations in raising awareness of nuclear energy at the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (Conference of the Parties – COP).
  • From 2021 to 2023, Jadwiga also served as Chair of the ENS Young Generation Network.
  • Previously, as a Nuclear Engineering Consultant at Oakridge SAS, she worked on the design of systems for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant.
  • She graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, where she also served as Chair of the KNEJ Uranium student association.
  • She later obtained a dual Master’s degree in Nuclear Energy from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, as well as from INSTN/ENSTA in Paris-Saclay.
