As Director of New Build – Poland at Candu Energy Inc. Jerry Piskorski leads strategic growth and nuclear development initiatives supporting the advancement of new nuclear projects in Poland and across Europe.
His work focuses on building partnerships with utilities, government stakeholders, and emerging nuclear programs to enable successful project development and delivery.
Jerry has over 18 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
He began his career at Ontario Power Generation in 2008 as an Inspection Engineer, where he contributed to advancements in fuel channel inspection techniques.
He went on to manage the Fuel Channel Engineering Group, leading lifecycle and core assessment programs, and later held leadership roles across plant performance, turbine inspection, and emergency management.
In his current business development role, Jerry applies deep technical and operational experience to nuclear new-build development, supporting international collaboration and the growth of nuclear energy in emerging markets.
Jerry is a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada and a certified Project Management Professional. He holds a degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University. He is recognized for his strategic insight, international experience, and leadership in nuclear project development.
