President of the Management Board of OSGE since 2022, he also serves as President of the Management Board of SGE S.A.
For nearly two decades, he was a Managing Partner at a consulting firm, advising numerous companies in the energy, oil, telecommunications, and commodities sectors. He worked as an oil and gas consultant for the Ministry of State Treasury, the World Bank, and the largest supplier of crude oil to Poland.
From 2000 to 2002, he was a Member of the Supervisory Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG).
In the 1990s (1994–2000), he worked in the media, writing on economics and politics.
He graduated in Political Science from the University of Warsaw (1998) and from the Warsaw School of Economics (2002). He earned an MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2004 and completed doctoral studies in artificial intelligence at the Polish Academy of Sciences (without obtaining the doctoral degree).
He was a fellow of the Reuters Foundation, the U.S. Department of State (twice), the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Howard Gilman Foundation, and Freedom House (USA).
