  • Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk, research and teaching worker.
  • She deals with the issues of environmental radiochemistry and radiation protection as well as radioecotoxicology, and her scientific research concerns the determination of natural and artificial radionuclides in natural samples – marine and terrestrial; distribution and accumulation of radioactive elements in marine and terrestrial organisms; determination of radiotoxicity of food products and the radiological effects of food uptake of radionuclides.
  • She is a member of the International Union of Radioecology and the Polish Chemical Society, as well as the Task Force for Opinions and Development of Marine Chemistry, the Marine Chemistry Section of the Committee for Marine Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Group of Fundamental Problems of Analytical Techniques of the Committee on Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Team of Experts on Marine Chemistry.
