Director of the Strategic Relations Department at BGK, Polish Development Bank.
Joanna joined BGK in 2010, initially in the role of a specialist and expert in the Structured Finance Department and, since 2014, as head of the section responsible for structuring financing for the energy, transport and municipal sectors.
In 2020, she was appointed head of the Bureau for the Structuring of Difficult Transactions, dealing with early corporate restructuring.
Since April 2021, she has been the director of the Strategic Relations Department, whose main task is to support the sustainable socio-economic development of Poland by providing financial solutions and comprehensive banking services to key business entities.
Joanna is also the director of the Strategic Security programme, which is in charge of determining strategic directions for BGK’s activities in security and energy transition, as well as improving the industry’s cyber security.
In addition to her work at BGK, Joanna gained professional experience in the private equity sector managing a fund operating in the field of renewable energy.
She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in “finance and banking” and from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences with a degree in “economics”.
